Day 2

Today's recap....

Ahhhh, coffee (sip, sip)....good morning Smokies...

Today was a full day!  Started off at The Track.  Which is pretty much what is sounds like, a bunch of different tracks for go-carts.  Surprisingly, Alyse was actually too short to drive on 2 of them so Daddy and I got to drive and she got to ride.  Somehow I was the crazier driver!!  Not sure what happened there! :)  But Alyse was tall enough to drive on the Rookie Track.

Then after the go carts, we took Kaylee on a train ride.

The last activity at the The Track was bumper cars.  And it only took Alyse 10 minutes to figure out how to drive it :) lol!!

The Track ended up being a hit and we still have some credits to use there so we may head back for the bumper boats!  We had lunch at No Way Jose and needless to say "No Way" will we ever eat there again!!  Haahee, I'm hilarious!  But seriously it wasn't very good.  That's what we get for trying to eat Mexican food in the south.  We then ventured out to Gatlinburg to ride the tram at Ober Gatlinburg.  Of course we were the last people to get on and were shoved on and between 50 people with a sleepy baby, anxious 8 year old, and a big stroller...but, we managed :)  When we reached the top I took Alyse up a little higher to the Alpine Slide.  An oldie but a goodie!

And finally...it hit 70 degrees, although it could have been the extra 27lbs I was carrying around on the way back down the mountain :)  my sleepy baby Kaylee.  Sleepy but awesome!  For not having a nap she was super good!

We then hit the strip and found some putt-putt for Daddy and Alyse while Kaylee and I walked around a bit.  But that little walk only lasted about 10 minutes and I noticed Miss Kaylee wasn't making much noise.  To my surprise she was passed out in the stroller.  The first time, ever!  How stinkin' cute!

By this time, she was pooped along with the rest of us.  So we headed back to the cabin for a bit of a rest before dinner.  After dinner at Big Daddy's Pizzeria we stopped for ice cream and headed home.  A full day of play!!
I apologize for the late post but after the kids got to bed, I spent some mommy time in the hot tub and on the deck rocking....soaking in the endless stars and warm air!
