Day 3 and 4

The last two days haven't gone exactly has planned but I guess that's the price you pay for vacationing with a 1 year old! :)
Sunday we did lots of swimming and had dinner at Outback, yummy!  Here's just a few pictures...

She loves the sea shells that Aunt Shirley found at the beach!
And here are a few pictures of the house...

Settling down for the night, Kaylee wanted to color so we brought Will back to the kid years of coloring.

Good night Kaylee Bug, Day 3 complete.

Day 4 started with mom having an upset stomach at 4am and Kaylee somehow getting powered donuts in her eye.  Needless to say it was pretty dramatic.  But I honestly thought that after the sugar came out of her eye, she'd be good to go.  Boy was I wrong!  About every 30 minutes for the whole afternoon she screamed.  We attempted to go to the beach because it is suppose to ran tomorrow.  So we loaded up the car and headed out.  Her eye was red and swollen and extremely sensative so we certainly didn't get to stay long.  But here are a few pictures of our exhausting beach attempt.

She was grumpy because of her eye and scared of the sand, but we tried!

Awww the beach...

So we had a meltdown and decided to eat a little something.  Apple sauce and a bunch of raisins!

Her little eye is red and puffy.  Wasn't getting any better.  So we packed up and headed out.  The moment she touched the sun, she screamed.  I carried her back to the car screaming with a shirt over her head.

We returned home to lay her down for a nap. As soon as we arrived she ate again, relaxed, and laid down perfectly. She was pooped! We cleaned up and headed to dinner and for a little shopping.

 Big girl!!

Finally let Aunt Shirley hold her :)
By the end of the day, her eye was better.  Still red and swollen but not as sensative.  She wanted her glasses though, no sun!!
We had ice cream at the mall and then she was on a sugar high!  Crazy girl the rest of the night :)  Day 4 ended!

Bradenton, FL trip!

My Aunt & Uncle rented a 4 bedroom house in Bradenton FL and offered for us to come down for a few days.  Unfortunately Alyse has school and Daddy has to work so only Kaylee and I could go down with my mom.  So Florida here we come!!!

Day 1 - Airport experience
To sum it up, our Kaylee's first airplane experience didn't start of great.  We were two hours early for the flight then to find out that our flight had been delayed another 40 minutes.  Needless to say by the time we were ready to board she was exhausted.  I also didn't know that they do not board small children first anymore (that just tells you the last time that I took a flight, its been a loooong time).  Now keep in mind that I am carrying my camera bag, huge diaper bag exploding with stuff, the carseat, my mom has her purse, the stroller, and Kaylee.  We check the stroller at the gate and start our trek down the teeny tiny isle.  After bumping 15 people with my diaper bag, we found our seats.  At which Kaylee began to scream.  The combination of a ton of people, being tired, and in extremely close quarters was enough for her.  We got the carseat strapped in and began to calm her down when the flight attendant came over and told us that we needed to move.  When we booked our flight they put us in the isle next to the emergency window.  To make a long story short, I had a few not so nice things to say to the flight attendant who was totally rude in the first place.  We moved seats and fixed the carseat again as she screamed, but was asleep before the flight took off.  She slept 30-40 minutes and did perfectly during the landing, except for kicking the lady in front of her 900 times!
Here's a few pictures from the airport...

She really liked watching the earmuff guys!

After we landed, we head back to the house to unwind and let Kaylee get down and crawl.  She was one pooped baby!  Here's a few shots along the way of a huge bridge that we had to go over and some water.

When we got to the house my uncle wanted to show Kaylee the pool...and believe it or not, she actually let him hold her!!!  Wow!!  Myself, Daddy and Nana have been just about the only 3 that can hold her without a totally melt down!

And then she found the balls!

Day 1 coming to an end...

Day 2!!

The balls...

Swim time!

And Alyse has no clue what she's getting ....
After swimming I thought for sure Kaylee would take a nap, but nope...she played with the balls.

Headed out for dinner at Cheeburger Cheeburger with no nap!

All in all a long day for Kaylee Bug!!
