Kaylee also enjoyed herself but I think she'd rather swim in the indoor pool. Before the storms cleared out, we let the girls swim inside for 30min and she was splashing up a storm! By the time we got outside she was slightly grumpy and ready for a nap.
With my developing headache, I immediately packed up the girls and headed to Greenwood for VBS which was "Summer Break" and I was a Leader for the preschoolers. They can definitely wear you out! Monday through Thursday 6-8:30pm
Tuesday, Alyse had a tooth pulled. Her tiny mouth didn't have enough room for her molars :( We had some drama about everyone seeing the tooth. She wanted to the world to see!! So, here ya' go world...the tooth!
We finally made it to the library on Thursday. Alyse was super pumped to find out she had 140 points towards the library's reading program. For every book she reads, she earns points. The number of points is determined by how difficult the book is to read. For the first 13 books she has earned 140 points. She then gets to turn them in for gifts and prizes! Then we headed to Half Priced Books. Alyse is doing their summer reading program as well. Read 15 minutes a day for 5 days and she gets a $3 gift card towards new books. So far she has $6 and is working toward $9. I let her go in by herself and turn in her sheet. :)
We finally made it to the pool again today. And Kaylee did good in her little floatie!
...and had to have a cat nap...
...and now she's happy!!!
I think Sissy is really concentrating.
...and Kaylee is always watching her Sissy!!
